In a user satisfaction study conducted in September this year, Finns rated the homepages of 36 municipalities.
The study, which was carried out by iTEST Oy in cooperation with the municipalities, showed that Nurmijarvi was the site that was most commended while Valkeakoski was second and Mantsala was third.
The study apparently revealed that the web sites of relatively small municipalities received good 'marks' from the 9,200 people who took part in the online study. According to the statistics, 8,924 respondents used the Finnish-language form and 276 used the Swedish-language form.
The study was reportedly the first of its kind in Finland with regard to its extent and quality.
